Media Reviews

Review of First Edition:

It is beautifully illustrated, and contains many eye-catching photographs and large, colourful diagrams. The explanations are clear and interesting, often interspersed with a touch of dry humour. ...a readable and enjoyable text.
This book will stimulate able students to pursue topics further, and will provide an excellent framework of understanding for those of more limited abilities.
