Synopsis

You Can Paint Watercolour will give even the most hesitant of beginners the confidence to pick up a brush and start painting. Alwyn Crawshaw takes the reader through all the basic colour mixing and watercolour techniques, and with easy step-by-step exercises explains how to paint the separate elements of a picture one by one.
First, learn how to paint simple still life subjects such as fruit, flowers and features of the landscape, like skies and trees. Then, with stage-by-stage demonstrations to show you how to combine these elements into a painting, it won't be long before you can produce watercolours to be proud of.
