Synopsis

Crafty Cat has hatched a plan to chase the other animals out of the barn, but will it be a runaway success or farmyard folly? The latest picture book from Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen.

It is a very hot day on the farm so all the animals are cooling down in the shady barn. But Cat is still feeling hot and bothered. He doesn't want to share the barn with the others, so he sneaks up ever so quietly behind Pig and all the Piglets... and suddenly shouts `SHOO!'.
And it works! The piggies scamper out of the barn, and so Cat quickly sets about chasing all the other animals away too. But once he's accomplished his aim, Cat sees that all the other animals are having fun outside whilst he is left all alone in the barn. Maybe his plan wasn't such a good idea after all...
