Julie Arkell enjoyed a successful career in the wine trade prior to becoming a respected wine and food writer, lecturer and broadcaster. She has written for a variety of national newspapers and food and drink publications, including The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Express, The Sunday Express magazine, and Decanter magazine, and is a regular presenter for the BBC. She was the Wine Manager of The Sunday Times Wine Club and is currently Wine Correspondent for Sainsbury's food and drink magazine and the writer for Penfolds Privilege Wine Club.
