Synopsis

More inspiring poems by one of the greatest Persian mystics and poets, here translated into English. Devoted to the gardens of the soul, the spirit and the heart, this collection captures the spirit and essence of Rumi's timeless message. Jelaluddin Rumi was born in what is now Afghanistan in 1207. His poetry has inspired generations of spiritual seekers, both from his own Sufi school and beyond. His message of love speaks directly to the heart and transcends the limitations of language and the boundaries of time. The poems in this book are divided into 3 sections, with 50 poems devoted to each of the gardens of the soul, the spirit and the heart. All are stages of the Sufi development. There are poems from the Divan, Rubaiyat and the Masnavi, with many presented in Persian calligraphy, aiming to enchant and inspire.
