Stephen Cross has studied Hindu thought and religion for more than twenty years and is a frequent visitor to India. Before turning to writing he was a documentary film prooducer based in London, making films on the religion and culture of people in many parts of the world. He has published many articles on indian religion and related topics, and is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic society. He lives in Sydney, Australia.
