He is the author of many books including the Sunday Telegraph Guide to Gardens of Britain & Ireland, Making Gardens, Gardens of France and Period Gardens. He has a column in Gardens Illustrated and is a regular contributor to The Garden (The Journal of the Royal Horticultural Society) and other magazines and newspapers. Patrick Taylor lives and gardens in Somerset.
