by Sam McBratney (Author), Kim Lewis (Illustrator)

Synopsis

When a little fox's mother says it is getting too late to play, he decides that he's not going to be friends with her anymore! But as the daylight fades and the shadows draw in, the little fox wonders whether it wouldn't be such a bad idea to stay friends with his mother. As she carries him back to the safety of their den, out of reach of all the horrible things that might be waiting for him in the dark, he is very glad to hear that she'll be his friend for ever.
