Synopsis

Poor old Daft Dog tends to get things a little mixed up. Everyone says he's just silly, but a trip to the optician's finally proves them wrong. Daft Dog cleans his face with his toothbrush and his teeth with the soap. He puts his jumper on back to front and never wears matching socks. When he goes out shopping he never manages to work out which shop is which and one day he takes the wrong bus home and gets completely lost, miles away from where he is supposed to be. It's lucky for Daft Dog, then, that one day he stumbles into the optician's thinking it's the library. Mr Peepers fixes him up with a pair of glasses and before long Daft Dog is a master of chess and the proud winner of the Clever Clogs Dog Brain of the Year Quiz Show. Nothing goes wrong for Daft Dog any more -- except when he forgets his glasses! AGE 3-7

Media Reviews
Daft Dog... looks set to become a favourite. The illustrations and text bring out the humour that children will love. And best of all, when Daft Dog gets his new glasses, he isn't daft at all but exceptionally clever! Good positive messages about wearing glasses are an extra bonus in this wonderfully wacky story.
