Synopsis

They took his wife and daughter, and left him stranded on a remote island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. They should have killed him. Doctors Michael and Sarah Stone and their ten-year-old daughter Ronnie sail their hospital boat to a remote Pacific atoll. When a huge cargo ship, the Dallas Belle, radios for medical assistance, Sarah and Ronnie set off to help, leaving Michael behind to investigate a tiny native canoe beached on the atoll. But this is no routine call for assistance and Michael is stunned to see the Dallas Belle simply sail away with his wife and child. Hundreds of miles from the nearest radio he must undertake an epic journey in the half-wrecked canoe to find help, while Sarah and Ronnie realise with growing horror that they have become caught up in a terrifying plot that will rock the world.
