Author Bio
Alwyn Crawshaw is television's No. 1 painter and has made seven popular TV series for Channel 4, all with accompanying books. His wife June has featured in three of these TV series alongside Alwyn and together the Crawshaws are known and loved by millions of amateur painters. Alwyn is also author of 13 other art instruction books, all published by HarperCollins. He runs popular painting courses and holidays and is a regular contributor to the Leisure Painter magazine. Alwyn is Founder and President of the Society of Amateur Artists. June Crawshaw is an experienced watercolour painter and is a member of the Society of Women Artists and of the British Watercolour Society. Her work is in many private collections in the UK and abroad, and she has participated in numerous exhibitions. June's first book, Watercolour Made Easy, was published in 1995.
