  To coincide with the Earth Summit, the United Nations Environment Programme held a photographic competition with the theme title of Focus on Your World . 32,000 photographs were submitted from more than 140 countries by photographers of all ages, professional and amateur alike. Entrants were invited to express their visions of a world either in celebration or condemnation of its present condition. This book includes over 220 of these photographs.
