  When a boy and a featherless chicken become friends life is certain to be full of surprises! One stormy evening when Jamie us staying with his Grandfather a strange bird walks in through the gate. Grandfather thinks he must have come from the chicken farm -- but that doesn't explain why the bird is such a sorry state, with hardly any feathers at all!
