Synopsis

When a boy and a featherless chicken become friends life is certain to be full of surprises! One stormy evening when Jamie us staying with his Grandfather a strange bird walks in through the gate. Grandfather thinks he must have come from the chicken farm -- but that doesn't explain why the bird is such a sorry state, with hardly any feathers at all! They name the bird Thomas and he soon makes himself very much at home. But having a bird in the house can be a bit messy and disruptive and so Jamie and Grandfather hatch a plan to give Thomas a wonderful surprise -- but finally it is Thomas to provides the biggest surprise of all! Author Bio
Clare works as a fine art painter and printmaker, and has always had a special interest in drawing. She has had many solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. Having studied at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art, she then went on to teach there and at various other art schools, before having two daughters.
