Synopsis

Second only to his best friend Noddy, Big-Ears is children's favourite character in Enid Blyton's Toyland. In this new adventure his cat, Whiskers, goes missing at the harbour. Big-Ears and Whiskers have gone to the harbour to buy some more rope for Big-Ears' washing line. It's a beautiful, windy day and Big-Ears wants to get home to hang out the washing before the weather changes, but Whiskers is nowhere to be seen. Then Tessie Bear's hat blows away and Big-Ears falls into the water chasing it. Whiskers suddenly reappears to rescue her friend and Big-Ears decides that maybe she isn't such a naughty cat after all.

Author Bio
Enid Blyton was born in Dulwich, London on 11 August 1897. In the 1930's, she began to write the magazine Sunny Stories, which contained many of the characters and plots that later went on to make up her children's books. Between 1915 and 1968 she wrote seven hundred books and a hundred million copies of her books have been bought in the last ten years alone. Enid Blyton died on 28 November 1968.
