In 2011, we visited the Afigya Kwabre District in Accra, to donate over 20,000 books to High Schools and also build a community library in Kaswase. At the time of the donation, the Afigya Kwabre District had the lowest literacy rate in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

We donated to 3 high schools who had a total of 2,000 school children enrolled, all of whom were able to access the books we donated via the school libraries:

  • Aduman Senior High School
  • St. Michael's Senior High School
  • Osei Tutu II Senior High School

The video below is a summary of our amazing experience with the poeple of Afigya Kwabre and all the children who would benefit from the book donations.
