Author Bio
Laurie Krebs, a first grade teacher for twenty years, is drawn to projects that combine her love of children's literature with her enthusiasm for travelling to distant places. This is her fourth project for Barefoot Books following We All Went on Safari: A Counting Journey through Tanzania (1-84148-782-1), We're Riding On A Caravan (1-84148-342-7) and We're Sailing to Galapagos: A Week in the Pacific (1-84148-901-8). She has four children and five grandsons, and lives in Charlesburg, USA with her husband, Bill. Christopher Corr is a London-based painter and illustrator. He travels the world painting people, colourful places and beautiful buildings. Since studying at the Royal College of Art, he has painted in numerous locations for exhibitions, commissions and publications. This is his second project for Barefoot Books, following My Granny Went to Market (1-84148-791-0).
