Author Bio
Christopher Chant is a successful writer on aviation and modern military matters, and has a substantial number of authoritative titles to his credit. He was born in Cheshire, England, in December 1945, spending his childhood in East Africa, where his father was an officer in the Colonial Service. He returned to the UK for his education at the King's School, Canterbury (1959-64) and at Oriel College, Oxford (1964-68). He has written extensively on aviation, transport and military subjects, with more than 50 books now to his credit, including War in the Air, Air Forces of the World, Encyclopedia of World Aircraft, The History of the RAF, Presidents of the United States and Sky Warriors.
