Author Bio
Tim Thornton has spent his life combining computers and boats. His work has spanned the requirements of all types of craft, from family cruisers right through to high tech luxury yachts and the largest superyachts. He is now Managing Director of Smartcom Software, producing a range of marine related software products and working on projects for Galileo and the European Space Agency. He also still finds time to go sailing!
